Last week, I had the opportunity to speak at a mastermind session, and one of the Visionaries shared an inspiring story about her 1-on-1s with her leadership team. She talked about how impactful these conversations have been, and the feedback she received was powerful: her team members said they โfelt seenโ and that she truly cared about them.
It was a great reminder that consistent and meaningful communication is the key step to resolving people issues. Regular 1-on-1s give team members a space to align on Core Values, clarify Roles, and tackle Rocks head-on.
When people feel valued, heard, and understood, their engagement and performance improve dramatically.
